Itinerary
Day 1 - Seattle, “The Emerald City”
Your holiday begins in Seattle, where you will have the entire day to explore the city. Seattle is the quintessential Pacific Northwest city, and its popular attractions are yours to experience at your leisure. Visit historic Pioneer Square, browse the shops at Pike Place Market, and enjoy panoramic views of the city from atop the Space Needle. Overnight Crowne Plaza Seattle or similar.
Day 2 - All Aboard the Coast Starlight
Arrive at Seattle’s King Street Station for your 9:45 departure. Once onboard the famous Coast Starlight you begin your 2,253-kilometre journey to Los Angeles. Take time today to explore the train including a visit to the Pacific Parlour Car, a newly refurbished private lounge exclusively for Sleeping Car passengers, for a mid-day wine and cheese tasting. Dinner will be served in the Dining Car as you pass Three Sisters Mountains. Conclude your day with a stop in the Parlour Car to sample the coffee and bar service while enjoying a movie in the onboard theatre. Or, stop in the Arcade Coach and play a round of video games with your fellow passengers. Overnight train. (L, D)
Day 3 - Coast Starlight Bound for Los Angeles
When you wake this morning, you’ll be just outside of San Francisco. Enjoy expansive views of the California coast over breakfast in the Dining Car. Take advantage of the many amenities and services onboard the train today, including a Trails and Rails presentation in the Sightseer Lounge, where you can learn about the California coastal region from volunteer rangers. You will arrive in Los Angeles at 22:00. Overnight Millennium Biltmore Hotel or similar. (B, L, D)
Day 4 - Los Angeles, “The City of Angels”
Your Coast Starlight Experience ends today. You may elect to extend your stay in Los Angeles and explore the city famous for movies, music, and celebrities, or transfer to the airport or rail station for your return home.

Transportation
The Coast Starlight travel daily between Seattle and Los Angeles passing through Portland, Eugene, Sacramento, the San Francisco Bay area, and Santa Barbara. The scenery along this famed route is breathtaking, from snow-covered mountains and dense forests to miles and miles of Pacific coast shoreline, providing a picture-perfect backdrop for your journey. The train offers several unique features including the newly refurbished Pacific Parlour Car-including a library, afternoon wine and cheese tasting, onboard movie theater, and coffee and bar service—and the Arcade Car with several high-tech video games.

Located in the heart of downtown Los Angeles, it is steps away from major attractions including the Staples Center, Walt Disney Concert Hall, the Museum of Contemporary Art, and a short drive from Hollywood and Beverly Hills.
