Rail Holidays in Cambodia

At the junction of the Mekong and Tonlé Sap rivers sits Phnom Penh, Cambodia’s busy capital, Phnom Penh.On the riverfront you will find attractive parks, restaurants and bars. There is the ornate Royal Palace, Silver Pagoda and the National Museum, displaying artefacts from around the country. At the city’s heart is large, art deco, Central Market, definitely worth a visit. Probably the biggest attraction in Cambodia though is Angkor Wat. A complex of extraordinary ancient buildings and temples, a UNESCO heritage site and the largest religious monument in world.

On the ‘must see’ scale? The only answer is yes. There isn’t a number high enough.
